GRP column casings make a splash at Rugeley Leisure Centre
The swimming baths at Rugeley Leisure Centre in Staffordshire is an ideal example of where Pendock Radius GRP column casings are the perfect solution. The high levels of heat and humidity, as well as the need to maintain cleanliness & hygiene with disinfectants and hoses, means that the GRP’s ability to resist water and chemicals, as well as scuffing or damage, was a great choice for this application.
The casings were bespoke manufactured, as extended circles, which include a GRP infill panel, to ensure they enclose the structural supports, but also have a minimum footprint.
