Manufactured using 12mm thick, sustainably produced BioCarbon® zero carbon compact laminate (CL), which incorporates a tough BioCarbon decorative facings to each side.
Compact laminate (CL), also known as compact grade laminate (CGL) or solid grade laminate (SGL) is used throughout the Robust range for the doors and panels, which provides a strong core with damage-resistant decorative surfaces.
By using a compact laminate core, the Robust range can be installed in high traffic and demanding applications where durability, impact resistance and the ability to resist high levels of moisture are key considerations during specification.
Compact laminate (CL)
The waterproof and tough CL core is typically finished with equally durable high pressure laminates, which can be specified in a wide range of colours and patterns, to give an exceptionally strong self supporting panel incorporating a smooth, curved edge profile.
Robust cubicles are highly versatile and can be used in any washroom installation, although their high specification, durability and water resistant capabilities makes them perfect for use in wet or high humidity environments and are recommended for these applications.
Exploiting the benefits of modular pre-drilled construction, standard panel dimensions and integrated ironmongery designs, Robust cubicles can be specified with a wide range of finish or colour combinations to meet exact project specifications.
The Robust range is a highly versatile solution for single and multiple cubicle installations in corner, island or between walls configurations. They are also easy to clean with no special precautions required when using pressurised hoses, whilst the solid core prevents peeling and cracking.
DDA and Approved Document M compliant cubicles and fittings are also available as options within the range. Our efficient manufacturing, finishing and management processes enable shorter lead times to be maintained, which allows orders to be completed and despatched quickly.
To complement our Robust cubicle solutions, vanity units and back panels are also available, which are designed to fully integrate fully with our cubicle ranges. Resin and other material options can also be specified.
Using specialist forming and finishing techniques, the vanity unit tops are manufactured as a single piece for strength and durability, whilst our flexible manufacturing processes and material options allow us to produce bespoke panelling to match any Robust cubicle.
