Our metal pipe boxing range has been engineered primarily to provide a tough solution for concealing exterior and interior pipework, building services and other utilities, such as external cabling and distributed heating system pipes, whilst providing added protection against accidental damage, theft or vandalism. CHM-MHM metal boxing is also ideally suited to concealing and protecting exterior and interior pipework associated with air source and ground source heat pump installations.
Manufactured from 2mm or 3mm aluminium, depending on the profile dimensions, our metal boxing is available in two styles CHM is a three-sided channel profile, for securing to a single flat surface while the MXM is a two-sided 90-degree design for fixing to adjacent surfaces, such as a floor and wall.
Both products can be specified with either a visible fixing flange or with the option of using metal angle brackets or timber battens to allow concealed fixing depending on the nature of the project.
The versatility of both products enables them to conceal both vertical and horizontal pipework and our metal boxing system can be designed and fabricated to close tolerances. This helps simplify and speed the installation process, which is also supported by a range of dedicated accessories including internal & externa corners, as well as stop ends and joint covers.
All metal boxing is bespoke manufactured to the exact project specifications and dimensions and have a PPC finish, which can be selected from a wide palette of RAL colours. Lengths of up to 4000mm are available depending on the profile dimensions.
