MX pipe boxing is a highly versatile solution for boxing in pipework of all sizes and configurations in a diverse range of applications from heating and mains water through to larger diameter drainage and waste pipework in domestic and commercial projects, as well as schools, colleges and further education. MX is also ideally suited to concealing interior pipework related to air source and ground source heat pump installations, while our MXV boxing is designed specifically for covering flexible ducting used with Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) systems. Designed for use with horizontal and vertical pipework, as well as for high and low-level installation, MX and MXV boxing is manufactured in the UK from pre-formed plywood and is pre-finished with a white resin impregnated décor paper, as standard, although other finishes can be specified.
Available in 5mm or 8mm thicknesses and an extremely wide range of profile sizes, most pipe boxing requirements and specifications can be met from our standard range, which makes specifying and purchasing simple and quick. MX boxing is supplied in 2500mm lengths as standard and can be readily cut to length on-site to meet project requirements, while our ‘Boxing-Pak’ range of popular sizes are supplied in pre-cut lengths of 825mm and 1250mm as a kit with wooden battens, screws and fixing instructions. A range of dedicated accessories is also available, including internal and external corners, as well as stop ends; butt joints and access panels, to help achieve a high-quality, integrated and professional finish.
