Manufactured from 9mm thick pre-formed MDF, our circular column casings are designed to provide effective, durable and versatile solutions for concealing interior columns, structural steelwork and building services.
Available in standard diameters ranging from 250mm up to 920mm, as well as bespoke sizes, the casings can be manufactured up to 3000mm in a single length and can be stacked to reach increased heights.
Although most casings in our range are manufactured as semi-circles, for diameters above 750mm they are typically supplied as quarter-circles. Semi and quarter circles can also be specified to incorporate flat extension panels between the joints. This provides even greater design versatility and enables larger dimensions to be achieved without compromising the casings’ integrity or aesthetics.
In addition to the ease of installation, which uses hidden mechanical fixings and a rigid lightweight support framework, a key feature of our MDF circular casings is the wide array of finishes that can be specified to integrate or contrast with a building’s interior design scheme.
Whilst the casings can be left unfinished for painting and finishing on-site, most are manufactured with a pre-finished surface using high pressure laminates (HPL), such as Formica®, or real wood veneers.
The wide palette of HPL colours, patterns and textured finishes available in our range, together with the broad choice of veneers, allows a high degree of design freedom for architects and specifiers.
