Manufactured from 8mm thick pre-formed plywood, our Pendock Radius square and rectangular column casings are designed to provide effective, durable and versatile solutions for concealing interior columns and other structural elements.
Whilst our standard range of square casings are available from 250mm up to 1000mm, as well as bespoke sizes, they can also be manufactured as rectangular profiles by using matching or contrasting extension panels to meet specific project dimensions or specifications. Up to 3000mm can be supplied in a single length and can be stacked to reach increased heights.
This design versatility allows the final casing profile to fit more closely to interior structural components and columns, which can also optimise floor space. All joints are designed to provide a modular and de-mountable solution, which makes them simple to install and remove, if required.
In addition to the ease of installation, which uses hidden mechanical fixings and a rigid and lightweight sub-frame support, a key feature of our ply casings is the wide array of finishes that can be specified to integrate or contrast with a building’s interior design scheme.
Whilst the casings can be left unfinished for painting and finishing on-site, most are manufactured with a pre-finished surface using high pressure laminates (HPL), such as Formica®, or with real wood veneers.
The wide palette of colours, patterns and textured finishes available in our HPL range, alongside as well as the choice of veneers, allows a high degree of design freedom for architects and specifiers. Bespoke finishes are also offered.
