Walsall tower block protects sprinkler system with metal pipe boxing

As part of a tower block fire safety improvement and refurbishment programme by WHG, Bamford House in Walsall, West Midlands, is using metal pipe boxing from the Pendock Profiles range to conceal and protect fire sprinkler pipework.

Manufactured from aluminium to the precise dimensions required for the project, the metal boxing follows the contours of the internal walls to not only conceal sprinkler pipework runs along corridors but also at pipe junctions and changes in direction.

Removable metal panels are incorporated within the sprinkler pipe casings to provide easy access for routine inspection and maintenance, while the white PPC finish integrates with the interior colour scheme.
